It felt like an endless summer, watching every sunset as time stood still, reminded by the Finnish birches of those early years where the knots in the bark personified eyes feeling one's heartbeat. Somehow, those long hikes leaping through the trees were lost in the light of the sun refracting through the golden hues of the leaves, met with eyes looking onward, guiding in some strange way every step. In these woods remains hope, the change in the world creates discomfort, but the eyes always, well, they guide us to the light in our souls.
